Hoodia gordonii cactus (Hoodia)
The San People of South Africa have used Hoodia gordonii for hundreds of years to stave off hunger pangs when food sources are scarce, while boosting their energy level at the same time. It has gained a lot of attention in America as a diet aid, appearing on 60 Minutes, the Today Show and many other news reports and in countless newspaper and magazing articles.
Typically, 1/2 gram of the dried cactus (1/2 a teaspoon) is taken in the morning and again at night.
